I am currently . . . . . . at home in Bergen, looking forward to the start of a new job as a Project Manager at Technocean on Monday 2nd August. My lady-of-leisure lifestyle is coming to an end!

Hydrographic Survey

 

In 1996 I graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BSc (Hons) in Marine Studies, majoring in Hydrographic Surveying. The profession has shaped my life immeasurably and was initially the answer to every young persons dream: the ability to get paid to travel the world. Of course once dreams are realised the reality is far more benign and my life has now morphed from innocent enthusiasm into a career that must ultimately pay the bills. However, the light still burns strong - in hydrography what happened yesterday will not be replicated today, and who knows what tomorrow will bring! I am proud to work in this industry and hope, in some capacity or another, to enjoy its fruits for many years to come. Here’s a potted history of where it has taken me to date:
